Back From Alaska 2 Eagles of Homer Alaska

I just got back from a marvelous trip to the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska to photography Bald Eagles.  The trip was very successful with lots of flight and fishing shots.  If you are interested in a trip like this contact Dale Franz at www.franzfoto.com.

The 1DMark 4 performed flawlessly with no difficulty focusing on fast moving eagles in low light.  I shot an average of 2000 images a day!  We also had opportunities for Sea Otters and Harbor Seals as well as spectacular scenic shots.

Back from Alaska

I just got back from Alaska and am editing my pictures. Saw about 15 Brown bears and cubs. We also spent a day photographing waterfowl. Here are a few shots. I will be posting more on my website www.yellowstonenaturephotography in the near future.

The shot on the left shows some of the new additions at Pahaska, just outside the East gate of Yellowstone.  The Pahaska foxes brought out their 6 new pups.  More to follow.
